I’m Running

By September 1, 2017 November 27th, 2017 Campaign News

With our conservative State Representative Pat Fallon running for the Texas Senate, it’s imperative that we ensure he is replaced with a strong, conservative voice who will represent the conservative values of District 106, and not the Austin insiders.

Conservative Businessman Jared Patterson Launches Campaign for State Representative, District 106

(Frisco, TX) On Thursday, Jared Patterson launched a campaign for State Representative District 106, the seat currently held by Pat Fallon. Fallon is seeking a seat in the Texas Senate. Frisco City Council member Brian Livingston will serve as Patterson’s treasurer.

Launching his campaign, Jared said, “When it became clear that our district would be losing Pat Fallon’s conservative vote in the Texas House, I worked with other conservatives to find a strong replacement. I was incredibly humbled when many local leaders began to request that I consider running. As a businessman and someone who is staunchly committed to our conservative principles, I will fight every day to make government less involved in the lives of Texans and the citizens of District 106.”

Jared Patterson and his family moved to Frisco in 2015 and immediately began looking for ways to serve the community.  Jared was elected by his neighbors to serve on their HOA Board of Directors while Leslie served as a Room Parent at Vaughn Elementary.

From 2009 to 2013, Jared served on the City Council in Sachse, Texas.  Jaredfought to cut wasteful spending, implement zero-based budgeting and multi-year budgeting and to dramatically increase transparency.  He also instigated adding a prayer and the pledges of allegiance to open all city board meetings. While on council, the City of Sachse became one of the first cities in Texas to utilize E-Verify, ensuring that all of the city employees were in the country legally. Additionally, during Jared’s tenure, the community realized the largest economic development growth in history.

Patterson is a former Republican Precinct Chair and three-time delegate to the State Convention of the Republican Party of Texas.  Jared and his wife Leslie will be married for ten years this December.  They have two sons, Reagan and Austin, and one daughter, McKinley.  Jared and Leslie met as students at Texas A&M University.  The Pattersons are members of First Baptist Church of Frisco.
